Praveen Sattaru is an Indian-American screenwriter, producer and film director. He has given his contribution to the Telugu film industry. He is known for his work in the movie Chandamama Kathalu. The film earned him the National Film Award in the category of Best Feature Film in Telugu in 2014. He was born in Andhra Pradesh. He holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He used to work as an SAP Consultant for the company IBM. He used to stay in the United States where he would discuss with his friends about their favorite films. His favorite movies were of K. Vishwanadh. In his free time, he used to write scripts which he would share with his friends. At a certain point in time, he was bored of the work which he was doing and so he decided to leave the USA and return to India and start his career as a filmmaker.
